The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department has many recreational opportunities available to residents in all corners of the County. The Regional Park system have what is probably the most extensive set of trails available in the State. From the three barrier free trails located in the Regional Parks to the competitive tracks most often used for mountain biking there is something for everyone. This trail system combined with hundreds of campsites, both developed and undeveloped are available on a first come, first served basis.
